We are trusted advisors who are passionate about helping our clients effectively tell their story. Our work is rooted in dignity, collaboration and relationship-building, and we spark positive change and growth through solutions-based communications and marketing initiatives that lead to inspiring new ideas and positive outcomes.
Our team has more than 35 plus years of collective experience delivering proven communications and marketing results for a range of clients, from corporations and government agencies in need of crisis and reputation management to NGOs seeking new ways to engage and activate stakeholders and change hearts and minds.
We strive to help partners become more conscious of their impact and to drive positive change by building connections and coalitions among diverse groups of people. Chris Sizemore
Chris has delivered effective and measurable communications and marketing solutions to clients for more than 15 years. At INCISIVE, he infuses a sense of purpose into the work for clients ranging from government and non-profit organizations such as Cobb County, Douglas County, City of Atlanta and Buckhead Coalition, University of West Georgia, to legacy Atlanta businesses such as The Integral Group.
Prior to INCISIVE, as the founder and CEO of Creative Mischief, an award-winning digital agency based in Atlanta, Chris worked with clients including NCR, The Carter Center, TSYS, United Way, Atlanta Brewing, First Data, Georgia Chamber of Commerce, Atlanta Technical College, University of West Georgia and Locate South Georgia.
A proud Georgian raised in Fayette County, Chris strives to create an exceptional experience for clients by listening to their needs and concerns twice as much as he talks. He calls it “My Southern Way” and it’s a hallmark of his commitment to hearing and including all voices when tackling complex issues.
He serves as the Chair of the Atlanta Fire Rescue Foundation and is a board member of LiveSafe Resources, Emory University Center of Ethics, Fulton Education Foundation, Kennesaw State University Bagwell College of Education, Titan 100, and SelectCobb.
Chris is a member of Leadership Georgia 2023, Leadership Douglas 2022, Atlanta Regional Commission’s RLI Class of 2021, Leadership Cobb Class of 2020 and Leadership Atlanta Class of 2019. He was named a 2022 and 2023 Georgia Titan 100 CEO Award Winner, Atlanta Business Chronicle 2024 Leaders in Corporate Citizenship Honorees - Board Champion,
and was named to both the Atlanta Business Chronicle and Georgia Trend 40 Under 40 lists.
When he’s not working on behalf of clients or serving the community, you can find Chris fixing and tinkering with just about everything around the house, hanging out with his oldest son Noah, throwing a softball with his daughter Haven or cheering on the soccer field for his son Cooper.
Sonji Jacobs
Sonji brings nearly 30 years of experience in communications strategy, media relations, reputation management and public affairs experience to INCISIVE. She served as Vice President, Corporate Communications and Public Affairs at Cox Enterprises, rising through the corporate ranks over 10 years to lead a 30+ member team of professionals charged with executive and employee communications, digital and social media platforms, content development, public relations and external affairs.
Prior to that role, she was Director of Communications for the City of Atlanta from 2010 through 2013 and is credited for raising the city’s profile and deftly crafting effective communication strategies around challenging issues, especially those involving public safety. As Vice President, Crisis, Issues Management and Public Affairs at Edelman, she helped private companies and nonprofits navigate reputational risks, legal challenges, accidents and employee labor issues. Earlier in her career, she was a reporter for The Miami Herald and the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Sonji is a member of the Leadership Atlanta Class of 2016, the Atlanta Regional Commission’s RLI Class of 2012, and was named to both the Atlanta Business Chronicle and Georgia Trend 40 Under 40 lists. Her teams have received numerous awards and accolades from organizations such as the International Association of Business Communicators and the Public Relations Society of America. She serves as the chair of the North Carolina Outward Bound School board of directors and is a vice chair of the Zoo Atlanta board of directors. She also serves as a member of the Hope Atlanta advisory council.
A native New Yorker, Sonji earned her Bachelor of Arts cum laude in History and Literature from Harvard University and a Master of Science in Journalism from Columbia University. In May 2023, she earned an executive MBA from Goizueta Business School at Emory University, where she was elected Class Commencement Orator and won the Marketing Faculty Honor Award. Sonji is the proud mom of Sonali, Wellesley College Class of 2026, and enjoys traveling, hiking, playing golf and reading.
Amy Martin Quinn
Amy Martin Quinn is a strategic communications and public relations executive with extensive experience in executive messaging, crisis management, internal communications, and community engagement. She brings a unique ability to bridge corporate strategy with frontline operations, crafting compelling narratives that drive engagement and reinforce organizational priorities.
With a 27-year career crafting communications strategy for media, sports, high-tech and utility industries, Amy has a proven track record of leading high-impact initiatives. She spent two decades at Cox Communications, the largest private broadband company in America, where she most recently served as Assistant Vice President of Corporate Communications and Public Affairs. In this role, she led communications for the company’s $10B annual broadband network investment, aligning initiatives with company priorities, employee engagement and public affairs strategy. She spearheaded programs that highlighted the essential role of internet service providers in healthcare, education, and community connectivity. Her proudest accomplishment was launching Cox’s broadband adoption program for low-income families, growing it from a 5,000-customer pilot to 150,000 customers in two years—an achievement recognized by President Barack Obama in 2016.
Amy holds an MBA from the University of Georgia’s Terry College of Business and a BA in History and Political Science from St. Joseph’s University, where she graduated cum laude. She lives in Atlanta, GA, with her husband and youngest daughter, while her two older daughters attend college. A former collegiate indoor track champion, she spends much of her free time trying to offset the effects of age on her 5K finish times.
Carlos Campos
Carlos Campos is a former journalist and communications leader with extensive experience in developing and executing government, agency, non-profit and public and private sector corporate strategies for 35 years.
Carlos has managed communications and media relations strategies as interim director of communications for Atlanta Mayor Kasim Reed, director of public affairs for the Atlanta Police Department, vice president of corporate communications at Synchrony Financial, a Fortune 500 financial services company, and director of content for Cox Enterprises, one of the largest privately held companies in the U.S. He also helped lead communications strategies for corporations as a senior account supervisor for MSL Worldwide in Atlanta.
His work as a journalist for 17 years at major city newspapers including The Atlanta Journal-Constitution and The Times- Picayune in New Orleans has uniquely positioned him as an authoritative writer, editor and strategist who understands the importance of compelling and effective storytelling for clients across a variety of digital and traditional channels. With INCISIVE, he is especially focused on helping clients identify and tell the stories in compelling and engaging ways that help further their business goals.
Carlos is a native Spanish speaker and in his free time, enjoys reading, hiking and traveling with his wife, Asa.
David Wells
After working in the non-profit world at the beginning of his career, David went to the agency side and began creating award winning work with clients such as The Home Depot, UPS, Underwriters Laboratories, the State of Georgia, Cox Communications and SunTrust.
David has specialized in working with established brands and creating new ones. He worked on major rebranding efforts for Alcon and CIBA VISION, two leaders in the eye care industry. He also was design lead for rebranding of West Pharma, PlasmaJet and Georgia Work Ready.
David has worked in the Atlanta design industry for more than twenty-five years. His ability to work seamlessly with a myriad of brands has been an asset to his clients.
Hannah Sethna
Storytelling shapes our understanding, connections, and creativity. Hannah is passionate about crafting holistic narratives where every detail weaves into a richer, more immersive experience.
With over 14 years of experience in advertising and communications, including a valuable international perspective, she brings a wealth of expertise to her work.
She knows that every detail matters, whether she’s developing large-scale media strategies, defining corporate communication plans, or executing targeted change management messaging. For her, how we engage with our audience often outweighs the content itself.
Hannah’s commitment to storytelling ensures that each narrative element is thoughtfully integrated to create a compelling and impactful interaction. Her strategic approach and global insight drive her to transform communication challenges into opportunities for deeper audience engagement and meaningful connection.
Julie Thorn
With over 20 years of experience in digital marketing, project management, and technology integration, Julie brings a proven track record of driving growth and optimizing marketing strategies for B2B and B2C clients. She specializes in developing multi-channel campaigns, executing corporate rebrands, and managing SaaS tools like HubSpot and Salesforce to enhance marketing effectiveness.
Throughout her career, Julie has delivered high-impact results, including reducing Hubspot subscription costs by 31% through data-driven optimizations and spearheading a 15-month customer journey Hubspot campaign, increasing retention by 22% through improved onboarding and providing actionable insights for marketing, sales, and customer success teams through automated workflows.
She has worked across industries such as fintech, SaaS, finance, and non-profit, leading cross-functional teams to achieve marketing excellence. Her expertise spans demand generation, ABM, performance marketing, and leveraging data to inform strategic decisions.
Julie is passionate about delivering measurable results through targeted campaigns, optimized user experiences, and a focus on ROI. Whether driving customer acquisition, improving lead generation, or enhancing brand visibility, her goal is to help businesses thrive in a competitive digital landscape.
Jayna Taylor-Smith
Jayna is a media and communications professional with 5+ years of experience managing client relations, growing ad revenue, and executing communications plans. Known for her thoughtful approach to brand storytelling and audience engagement, she brings both strategic insight and creative perspective to every project. As a Millennial–Gen Z cusper, Jayna deeply understands the evolving digital landscape and leverages social media as a powerful tool helping brands authentically connect with diverse, global audiences.
She previously worked as a Sales Service Executive at Urban One, contributing to sales & marketing initiatives for TV One and CLEO TV, and as a Pricing & Planning Analyst at Warner Brother’s Discovery. Key roles to her development include PR, editorial, and comms internships at Cox Enterprises, Reader’s Digest, and the Ronald McDonald House of North Central Florida.
She is passionate about creating balance in the big city of NYC through practicing and sharing yoga. Her time away from work is often spent experiencing music and arts festivals or traveling to a new, vibrant city.
